Check this out!
[And just as abruptly as the feed started, there's suddenly a big bird-looking thing shoved in front of the camera. While it cries in shock of suddenly being jerked around, Hagakure just sounds really excited about it all.]
You guys never told me this world has living OOParts! This is seriously amazing, dudes! This guy looks just like one of the Nazca Lines drawings! So do you know what this could mean?
[He leans in close to the 'Gear, which is when you can see that he's absolutely filthy with dust and dirt. Someone's been digging around in the Ruins of Alph for quite some time, apparently.]
Not only were the people who made those drawings sending messages to ancient aliens, they were drawing tributes to actual creatures! Pokemon totally appeared on Earth at one point, true as truth! This is groundbreaking discovery that's gonna turn the scientific community on its head whenever I get back home!!
[He looks so proud of himself for saying something so utterly ridiculous. Unfortunately he actually believes this to be true.]
But seriously, this place is full of cool ancient Pokemon! I got these guys too—
[He turns the camera to show a weird top and floating mirror. His other Pokemon—an Elgyem, Abra, and Chingling—come into the picture to meet their new teammates.]
They both come from ancient times and have been chilling in these ruins up until now, I guess. How cool is that? It almost looks like they could've been made by those ancient people too, 'cause Baltoy's like a living clay statue!
Man, this has gotta be the coolest place in this world. Hey, does Johto and Kanto have any other ruins? I wanna see all the cool ancient Pokemon!
[Just as he's about to the end the feed, he remembers something.]
Oh yeah! One last thing before I check out. When me and Kuwata-chi get to Goldenrod I'm gonna officially open my fortune-telling services to the public! We're hoping to get to Goldenrod by the end of October so be on the lookout for me! But if you're really eager, I'll be in Azalea for a little while before heading to Goldenrod so you can always request my services there. My name's Yasuhiro Hagakure, the Super High-school Level Fortune Teller, just for reference.
I'm lookin' forward to reading your fortunes! Non-believers need not apply, of course. [HE'S LOOKING AT YOU, BLAKE.]
[And with that, he cuts out.]

There's just the little thing that you won't remember anything about this place whenever you get back home.
[There goes your groundbreaking, let's turn scientific community into its head, discovery?]
video
[His face falls at the sudden revelation. Noooo, his plans have been foiled!]
B-But this might be one of the most important finds of the twenty-first century...!
video
[She's watching that reaction with an excellent, flawless pokerface.]
Yeah, because everyone would definitely believe you. [That's sarcasm, try catching it.]

[Denzel is sitting in the shadows.] Yes, there's also the tale of how the - CLEFAIRY! Came from outer space. Which makes perfect sense! [At least to Crocker since Denzel believes Fairy World is in outside space. Crocker leans in more intrigued yet, still remains partially hidden in the shadows, now the man may look like his wanted poster in this lighting.]
I don't suppose you know of some of the other ancient Pokemon? Which city is this that is so interesting, hmmm? [Perhaps, those ruins where the key to finding powerful Pokemon like Celebi.]
I'd be interested in having my fortune told, yes.
Whoa, that's where they come from? Fairies from space...I can get behind that!
It's outside Violet City, actually. I think it's called the Ruins of Alph? There's a ton of cool ancient stuff here! But no dude, I haven't seen any others yet, but that's why I wanna keep looking. There's gotta be more than just these guys.
[He beams when Crocker expresses his interest in a reading.]
Great! Where're you at? I'll give you one whenever I get there.

Super High-school Level Fortune Teller...?
[Yeah, he has to admit he's never heard about anything like that before.]
I don't think there are other ruins here. Ruins of Alph is the only place I've seen.
video
[He smiles proudly, but that doesn't last for long once he hears about the lack of ruins.]
Seriously? It's the only one? No way, there's gotta be more than this. Ruins are everywhere, dude!

[Very deliberately not touching the rest of that. He's not sure how to break the memory loss thing gently, at this point.]

[And he's not sure he wants to know more, but at the same time it could be kind of interesting...]

[ Someone who has no idea what high school even is just stares blankly at the PokeGear. A pause, then she realizes he mentioned something else as well. ]
Aliens?
video;
[But we're not going to talk about how it turned into a murder school.
Hagakure gives her a blank stare for her second question.]
What, you seriously don't know what aliens are? They're beings from other planets, dude! They look like...well, like Grey here!
[He holds his Elgyem up to the screen.]
Well, I guess they can look like anything, but this is the main way they're seen.

[ the rumors could very well ring true! but tsubasa finds it hard to believe that there is a place that acts as a cemetery for pokemon. pokemon?? dying?? it seems unlikely. that's why she dismissed everything she's heard and stamped on the "rumor" label.
as for whether or not hagakure would be interested, well.. tsubasa's still learning the ways of the supernatural so she's not sure if it would be a place fit for hagakure or not. ]
It's not a place with ruins, but perhaps you would be interested? I suppose it's possible there could be ghosts there..
( video )
[And that's the last Tsubasa's going to see of his cheerful mood, because the color immediately drains from his face and a look of dread appears in his eyes, all at the mention of ghosts.]
A...A tower of g-ghosts? Thanks but no thanks, Hanekawa-chi. I might be good at channeling spirits, but I don't like dealing with ghosts all that much.
Fortune-telling? How do you see the future? Look at the entrails of animals? Sit in a steam tent and wait for visions?
[He's not being sarcastic here, he's actually curious. He's from a world where magic exists and is wondering if Hagakure's found a way to use magic in Johto.]
Yeah, I'm with you there, dude! 'cept instead of magic I'm thinkin' alien technology. They must've bestowed the primitive cultures with their technology to make ancient robots!
[Even if he was joking, Hagakure probably wouldn't have detected it anyway. He answers seriously.]
I've done the entrails thing before but it's not really one of my preferred methods. Waiting on visions is definitely more my thing. I like using Tarot cards and crystal balls too, but I haven't found any in this world yet.

Either way, please excuse the fact that Yusuke here looks like he's just gotten into a brawl, Hagakure. He's responding to this broadcast in-between matches at the Fighting Tournament, hence why he's, you know, bruised all to hell and sporting a black eye. His injuries sure don't seem to be worrying him all that much, though! In fact, he seems pretty relaxed... if not just a little confused by what he just watched.]
"Super High-School Level"? What does that mean? Is that like some kind of scholarship thing?
[Do they even hand out scholarships for being connected to creepy woo-woo supernatural stuff? 'cause if they do, well... hell, in that case, maybe there's some hope that he'll be able to get into a decent high school after all.
...
Nah.]
video;
Y-Yeah, actually! I got me access to Japan's best high school, Hope's Peak Academy. It's where all the kids with Super High-school Level abilities go. We're at the top of whatever we're skilled at.
[And okay, he has to ask...]
You okay? You look like someone beat the crap outta you, dude.

Ah, I see you've discovered more Psychic-types, Hagakure-kun!
[This is kind of relevant to his interests. Because. Um. Reasons.]
I'm not familiar with the Baltoy, though - where did you get that? In the ruins as well?
no subject
[Maybe he is meant to be a Psychic trainer.
Hagakure picks up his Baltoy when Ishimaru mentions it. It stares blankly at the 'Gear's camera. It can't really do much else since it's clay, but...]
Yup, I got him here. He was blending in with some rubble but Grey has a really good eye for finding Pokemon. I guess these guys have been around since ancient times. They hung out with the old cultures that used to be here.

ACTION
You don't want to wake up and see a floating clay doll hovering nearby in the middle of the night, trust me.]
Hey man, you done already? Shit, you're pokemon are just all so weird.
no subject
Yup, all done!
[He then scoots himself to face Leon, still half-holding his new Sigilyph in his arms.]
What? Whaddya mean weird? They're really cool! Psychic types all look so different. It's a nice change of pace whenever I find a new one.
[He pats the weird excuse for a bird on its round body, causing it to chirp. And that is no normal chirp, let me tell you.]
