[action, early in the day]

[Hagakure can be found at the Goldenrod department store, doing a little shopping. At the most opportune moment, he's at the cash register getting his items rung up. He doesn't look very happy about it, though. In fact, he looks downright horrified.]

A total of P666?! You can't be serious! That's like, a super bad omen! You gotta tell me you made a mistake ringing that crap up!

[The extremely confused cashier tries to reason with the freaked out Hagakure, but after not being able to calm him down, she eventually finds a coupon from the store's coupon book and applies it out of pity. This time, the total comes to P444, and...Hagakure isn't any happier about it.]

Now it's really unlucky!! Why is this happening to meeeeee?!

[There are bad signs everywhere and his luck is so bad, you guys.]

[It's been a long time since Hagakure made a post to the network. In fact, the subject he's going to be talking about is the same as his last post. He's been purposely avoiding posting for Several Reasons but that's not the point right now. After the continuation of earth tremors, glowing crystals, agitated Psychic types, bad number omens, and now near-constant headaches of his own, he knows it's time to speak up.]

Long time no see, guys! How's it going?

[He's surprisingly upbeat despite...everything, but hey, it's always good to appear totally cool on the network.

Not that he's ever done a good job of that, but you know.]

Since these weird tremors and glowing crystals haven't let up, I figured I'd lend my services to you guys. Ya see, I'm a fortune teller and I'm really good with Psychic types. For everyone who has at least one, you've had to have noticed that they've been acting really unlike themselves every time these tremors come around and the crystals flip out.

[He seems a little troubled when he talks about that, but he presses on.]

Well, I can help with that! I've got a ton of Psychic types, and I have plenty of techniques to calm 'em down that I'd be happy to share.

I did something like this the last time the crystals were messing things up, but this time I'm opening up my office for personal visits. [His office being…his room at the Dangan House.] So if you have an anxious Psychic type, you can bring 'em over and I'll personally show you how to help 'em out.

[…there has to be a catch to this, but if there is one, Hagakure's not saying.]

So yeah, just drop me a line here and we can work something out! I can do long distance appointments too, for everyone not in Goldenrod.

[Aaand deep breath. Phew. Okay, now that the business is out of the way...his face suddenly gets a lot more serious.]

I'm also up for discussing the tremors and crystals, especially from people who were here for the last crystal attack. I'd really like to hear your theories behind 'em, 'cause this is getting kiiind of crazy.

You guys don't think the last attack was just a precursor to something even worse, do you...?

[With that awful thought in mind, Hagakure ends the feed there.]

I don't think so...or I've never heard him if he can. He was always so quiet before...never even seemed too interested in interacting with my other Pokemon. He just likes to sit and watch.

_{[Jasper gargles loudly as Henry peels him off of his body and holds him out. The groggy little pokemon kicks his paws.]}

[GENIUS LEON STRIKES AGAIN. He's just...gonna keep going on about the fact that Hagakure just about missed another unlucky number and hopefully he'll get away with his freebies. ~~Leon that is no way to be a good housemate.~~

Heh, just leave it to me! I totally did save your ass right there huh? Three '4's in one row is really super unlucky. Even I know that, and I'm not even into all this luck bullshit.

[Henry shrugs.]

I actually had to study it as part of my training to become a dark mage, so I can technically do it myself, but like I said-- it's boring.

I mean, nobody dies in fortune telling. All you get to do is hear about how maybe they'll die later. Where's the fun in that?

[...Goddamn, that's a lot of Psychic types. Like he's one to talk, though. But eight of those cats? Jeez.]

Nah, you can bring them all. I should have enough room. Besides, I don't like playing favorites with Psychic types.

[Oh. ..oh boy.

Well things are probably going to get interesting because Nagi is actually considering taking you up on this offer, Hagakure.]

Alright. When would be a good time, then?

Anytime's fine! If you want to come now, that's cool. I'm not going anywhere.

I see.

Where is your office located in town, exactly?

Oh, duh. Might be useful for you to have that, huh? One sec, I'll send you the address.

[Moments later, Nagi will get a private text with the address.]

[Nagi doesn't respond further than that, deciding that he'll collect his Pokemon and head over when it looks like there aren't too many people out.

When he does make it over he's pretty loaded down with pokeballs, all of which are in a backpack hanging loosely from his shoulders. Riding on one of those shoulders is his Abra in question, his tail swaying eagerly. It's very rare that Nagi ever ventures out like this for a purpose that isn't training, so he's very excited to see what's up.

The boy stops near the front door, looking around a second time to be sure that he won't be running into a whole slew of other people inside. Once that's out of the way, he reaches out and knocks on the door.]

Can you do mine, bro?

[ he needs to know ]

Well, hey, I'm sure if I show up at the wrong time I can come back later, right? It shouldn't be too hard to find!

[she's going to get so lost.]

...and you know, it was the weirdest thing! I could kind of just... find them, you know? Then again, everything was really weird those couple days, so being able to have weapons when they just don't exist otherwise kind of makes sense.

[He is going to tell his brother because this is about the coolest thing single the bagel toaster.]

Aw man... Then when I swing by Goldenrod, I'll drop in! How do you do it?

She's been...all right, I think. I'm not terribly good at talking to her. Not like most people with these things are.

[How do Psychic anything, basically.]

Dude, do you know how bad the cops are at helping out here? I don't think they're gonna be able to handle it.

[Always gonna be his problem.]

Yeah, ghost crystals. Who knows how powerful they really are, either. They might even be more powerful in numbers!

Okay. Some Psychic types are like that. One of mine is the exact same way, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

[He motions for that Elgyem to get up and come closer to the Espurr. It does as it's told and looks up curiously at Henry and his Espurr.]

If you want, I can have Grey here try to talk to him. He's really good with telepathy and talking to other Psychic types.

I dunno if I want to if them being near my Psychic types is really riling 'em up! Still, I do know where they are if I need 'em.

[Leon will indeed get his freebies! Once Hagakure's checked out and they're away from the register, he holds out the bag to Leon.]

Yeah, don't remind me...I dunno how I managed to get that and 666 at the same time. This is seriously not good, especially since they're showing up for me, a fortune teller.

Well if you wanna do it that way, I won't stop you. I just thought it'd be pretty inconvenient to come all the way out here and then I'm not home, y'know?

Huh. That's true though, that weekend was pretty weird. I mean, I ended up in Viridian City with no clue how I got there! And then all the sudden I was back here in Goldenrod...

[He'd call alien shenanigans but Grey already said he didn't have anything to do with it, so he just doesn't know.]

[And with that, he's going to try to shuffle off. Please feel free to stop him, he's being ridiculous.]

No, but they can't be worse than some of the ones in New York.

[Which he knows isn't exactly fair because supervillains, but whatever.]

And let's hope they're not. Ghost crystals already sound bad, don't make this crap worse.

Yeah, I did! I picked one up way back in May.

[Because it's obviously a good idea to own one for himself.]

They're crystals. But on the other hand, we don't really know a lot about them...
